Our dear friend Finn has made over 500 violins. Some are in use in Orchestras where volume and tone are essential. Made with an Italian flair and hand carved out of reclaimed old wood. Finn has had this flamed maple, grained Spruce and Black Ebony in his stash of old premium woods for decades. This is French Polished, all done by hand. His hands are worn out from this but it’s all about the tone. Set up and ready to play, this has the vibe of an older violin not that new out of the box made in China vibe. Finn is serious and studied. He makes Mandolins and Mandocellos for us. They are tuned the same as the violin. But his first love is the art and science of violin making. This does not come with a bow so you will have to bring your own. We are looking into getting a case but will be priced separately if we find one. Bring in your violin to try side by side.
