In stock

Natural with herringbone top trim, an amazing sounding new Collings 00 Traditional, 14 frets to the body, 24 7/8” scale length, Sitka Spruce top, East Indian Rosewood back and sides, ultra thin nitro lacquer finish, pyramid bridge, ebony fingerboard with short diamond and square inlays, bone nut and drop in saddle. We’ve been getting requests for 1 & 11/16” nut width guitars as was standard on most acoustics from the ‘50s – ‘60s -‘70s – ’80’s – ‘90s – so we special-ordered with that 1 & 11/16” nut, 2 5/16” string spacing, pre-war scalloped X bracing with no tongue brace. The 14 frets model feel comfortable and familiar while the Traditional voicing has that woody open tone that vintage guitars are known for. The “T” or “Traditional” is like the coveted prewar Martins with lightweight woods for a more open, broken-in sound and feel and a dry articulation. Plus custom wood purfling and rosette, thinner finish, and prewar diamond-and square fingerboard inlays. Comes with a new deluxe hard case. Serial number 34960.
