1×12” combo in black. 16 watts at full power from a pair of EL84s with a built-in attenuator that reduces output to 2 watts or less, and a British-made Fane F25 12” loudspeaker. Speaking of the UK, this American-made amp is all about capturing a variety of English tones, particularly Marshall, Vox, and Hiwatt. EZ81 tube rectifier, and a versatile preamp section with a pair of 12AX7s and a (here’s the Vox part) EF86. “Top” and “Level” controls, midrange, bass, well as speed and depth controls for the footswitchable tube-driven tremolo, and a power attenuator control. Additional settings include a high/low taper switch for modifying the signal chain in terms of the EF86 and partial master volume, and of course the voicing switch with positions for “V66”, “H73”, and “M68” which, recalling that the purpose of this amp is recreating Vox, Hiwatt, and Marshall tones of the ‘60s and ‘70s, one might be able to guess the meaning of. Point-to-point hand wired with premium components including Solen Fast Cap electrolytics, carbon comp resistors, Jupiter signal capacitors, and a cabinet made in-house from European birch ply. Made in Pittsboro, North Carolina, USA, comes with footswitch.
