CINEMAG OUTPUT TRANSFORMER

Expanding HP2X design, we employed our custom output transformer from Cinemag (a highly respected company and large player in the transformer industry). By thoughtfully selecting key factors like core material, winding ratios, impedance, inductance, and other tone-enhancing attributes, we crafted a transformer design that seamlessly integrates with the existing architecture and circuit topology of our HP2. This allowed us to imbue the new ULTRA with many of the tonal characteristics that have earned these transformers widespread acclaim and demand over decades in the musical amplification industry.
