Natural, shows some light playing scratches on the top and back, sounds good, the saddle is low but it plays well. Sitka Spruce top with herringbone trim, Indian rosewood back and sides, Signature model for Eric Clapton, based on a vintage Martin he used for his acclaimed MTV Unplugged performance. A 14-fret 000 with scalloped braces, tortoise guard, traditional dovetail neck joint, 24.9” scale neck with a nice vintage “v” profile, ebony fingerboard with abalone long diamond-and-square inlays and EC’s signature at the 12th fret, open-back nickel tuners with butterbean knobs, rosewood headplate with old-style script logo, ebony belly bridge with 2 1/4” spacing. A very traditional signature model that’s been in production for a long time, intimate and articulate but with plenty of dynamic range and perfection, beautiful appearance, and comes with a crossrock hard case.
