2015 Fender Custom Shop ’57 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic

Blue Sparkle finish, a rare find, maple neck with soft V neck profile, 6105 frets and 9.5” radius (the better to bend strings my dear). Fender did make sparkle finishes for certain artists in the 50’s. But it is the rarest finish as the metal flakes will clog the spray gun, again and again. So nobody likes doing these finishes. This one is feather light at 7.5 pounds, lightly aged hardware and body. Plays smooth with true ’50s-sounding pickups, clear yet full when pushed. Comes with the COA, trem arm, bridge cover etc. in the original deluxe tweed hard case.
