1984 Gibson Les Paul Custom
$5,250.00Out of stock
Black, of course, with gold hardware (again, of course). Some honest wear but generally in great shape, and all-original including cool late Norlin-era features such as the Schaller flip-out crank tuners, diamond strap buttons and the highly-desirable Tim Shaw PAF humbuckers, which sound fantastic. Pots and pickups date to ’83 and look to be native to the guitar. Otherwise standard Les Paul Custom details like the bound ebony board with pearl blocks, bound headstock, and the iconic split-diamond headstock inlay. This one is structurally and electronically sound, plays very well, sounds incredible, and looks like a million bucks. Made in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, and comes in its factory hard case, the last version of the Protector, also known as the “chainsaw” case.
