1978 Rickenbacker 4001

Jetglo lacquer with rare factory black plastic, both pickguard and truss rod cover. A one-owner bass, all-original save for a replaced output jack, in its original black tolex hard case. Neck-through construction, maple neck with bound and lacquered rosewood fingerboard, maple body wings, iconic cresting wave shape, triangular crushed-pearl inlays, stereo Rick-O-Sound wiring, two Hi-gain pickups, great weight at just a hair over 8 pounds. Some honest wear, but in fine mechanical and electronic shape. Did we mention it looks dynamite with the black plastic?
