Mahogany body and neck in Walnut with some very nice grain, bound ebony fingerboard with pearl block inlays, deluxe bound and purfled headstock with split-diamond inlay, gold waffle-back tuners with keystone buttons, no breaks, very clean, great weight at 7.5 pounds. Three “patent sticker” humbuckers with gold covers, 3-way selector, speed knobs, gold-plated “harmonica” bridge and stoptail (with original black washers, naturally). The neck is the narrower “fast” profile favored by Gibson in the later ‘60s and ‘70s but has some depth and is quite comfortable, no structural or electronic issues, plays and sounds great, and it’s an SG Custom as played by Tony Iommi, Glen Buxton, and many more. Very cool, quite uncommon, especially in this color, and issue-free. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA, and comes in newer Gibson hard case.
