1968 Martin D-12-20

Natural, 12-string acoustic. The first question anyone should ask with a 12-string is does it need a neck reset? On this one, we say no. It’s good to go with easy action. Ok now, wide-grained Sitka Spruce top over nice Honduran Mahogany back and sides along with a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The nine-layer rosette has turned green like your pre-CBS Strat pickguard. All of this looks composed and restrained in that classic old Martin way. Good woods, properly seasoned and braced make this an amazing 12-string. Who needs bling?
Repairs? We reglued the bridge and fixed any loose braces. Also, two repaired cracks at the edge of the fingerboard all repaired and cleated. There are a few dings and it does have marks from a guitar hanger. Also has a K&K pickup installed and comes with a rather cool original 60’s Martin hard case with nickel parts. A really nice guitar to play right now.
