Blackface, EX-. Re-grilled but with real vintage grille cloth. Matched quartet of 6L6GC power tubes, biased, and fully serviced with three new preamp tubes , new power cable, replaced power switch, all solder connections looked over and resoldered for reliability where necessary, tube sockets cleaned and tightened. About $200 invested so all you have to do is think about tone. Big fat smooth handwired tone. Huge bass, fat mids, and singing treble. A famously great bass amp with 85 watts of power under an 4-ohm load. For guitar? Wow. Rich, smooth vintage tube sound with a pleasing bit of hair. We also had it cleaned cosmetically. So better than 90% of Showman heads out there.
