1967 Fender Bassman-Amp
$1,795.00In stock
Head only. Late “blackface” 50-watt tube amplifier, sounds great for bass but is most famous as an aggressive but articulate guitar amp. AB165 per the tube chart, solid-state rectifier, a pair of 6L6 output tubes, two channels (“bass instrument” and “normal”) with identical controls, four inputs, bright switches for each channel. All-original save for upgraded three-prong mains cable and some minor replaced wear parts, but the transformers, grille and tolex are factory – see the interior photos. In good shape cosmetically and electronically, runs well, and sounds great. An unequivocal classic of guitar and bass amp design, handwired and built to last in Fullerton, California, USA.
