1966 Harmony Sovereign OM
$895.00In stock
Natural, solid spruce top flattop with recent $400 neck set done so it plays better than new. BTW 1966 is our best guess on its age. These Chicago made legends were always lacquer and had Brazilian Rosewood fingerboards and bridge. This is a 25.4” scale, 1 3/4” nut, mahogany body and neck. The back and sides are laminate.
The 15” OM size bodies are rather rare for Harmony. This is fancy with six layers of top binding and a deluxe sound hole rosette, bound fingerboard with side dots, a bound back and white heel cap.
Has the original strap button, replaced no pin bridge (original in the case). It’s important to note the unusual level of service that went into this. It’s crack free and is a rather amazing sounding ladder braced guitar. In good shape with a neck reset done, newer frets with no wear and an original hang tag in the newer hard case.
