1964 Vox AC10 Twin

Early 1964 production. Candy panel (that’s red in “Vox speak”.) A really great-sounding amp that’s rather perfect for the current trends of today – small amps are in. These early Vox amps are quite rare in the United States. This one has changed grille cloth but the original is included. The previous owner takes meticulous care of his gear. The old cloth was torn but he had it stitched and it could be reinstalled. It has been serviced at Savage Audio (of Savage Amps fame.) The ticket states: Replaced power tubes, biased power tubes, new power cord, replaced power filter capacitors, re-tensioned and cleaned all tube sockets, and other items for about a $350 service bill. It’s good to go. It’s been kept clean and has its original footswitch. The original Celestion 16-ohm 10” speakers lost their labels but they have excellent repro labels from North Coast Music. Two channels – white inputs for the vibrato channel and black inputs for the normal, with a master tone control. This one has the universal factory voltage selector. It’s a clean healthy classic JMI-era British Vox, killer-sounding. No returns if shipped (we trust us to pack amps but no one else).
