Silver Fox, custom color, EX. These are and maybe always have been
undervalued in the vintage guitar market. When these were new they cost more than their Gibson factory cousin the SG Jr. but they still seem to sell for less. Good for you because these are thicker, so more mass, bigger sound and sustain. Plus sometimes you get cooler colors like this one. They should have called it Green or Foxtail Green or something more clever like Collings’ Doghair.

Anywho, nice neck, that cool six on a side headstock. Ever notice it’s shaped like an E? This has no breaks a Brazilian fretboard and is really light at 6 pounds.

There are some nits to pick. It has a newer Gibson lightning bolt bridge with the unbent nickel studs still in place.. The original nickel bridge is in the case. Also has one changed knob. The pickguard is is broken at the tip. The broken piece is also in the case. The last nit is the case is for a newer ES-339 yet it fits really well.

This guitar has great tone acoustically and through an amp. Let’s just say everything you’ve heard about Gibson’s P-90 is true. Wow. This feather light custom color Gibson is all set up and ready to go.
