Sunburst, sometimes describing condition is best left to the photos before you tout a guitars virtues. Sun faded top? Yes. Repaired cracks? Yes. We can’t fool you but all the cracks have been addressed. Are those capo marks on the back of the neck? No. We thought so but after you play it you realize the previous owner had a strong grip. Those are thumb marks and feel quite natural as you play up the neck. They say there’s no money past the 7th fret. It’s true of this guitar. The tone is deep and rich with the clear bass and long sustain you’d hope for. Has the original pat. pending gold Grover tuners, typical 1960 wide thin neck profile with nice flame. Also with crown inlays on a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and mustache bridge. The extremely cool original pickguard is nicely worn. Shows fairly heavy checking but no water damage, no flaking. Has a well done refret and now shows no fret wear. A strap button was added near the neck and not the heel.

The guitar is well played but not abused. The tone is what you’d hope for, very open and alive. It’s beat but sweet and priced right too. Comes with the original brown hard shell case. Consigned.
