1959 Fender Harvard
$5,750.00In stock
Model 5F10, dated “II” (September ’59) with the Jensen P10R speaker dated the 21st week of 1959 (made May of ’59). This amp has been under steady use in a well-known Minneapolis studio. It’s not mint but just as many would prefer. Original and with original tweed yet not too clean to gig with. These days this is the perfect-size amp for playing clubs with a PA. The Harvard is 10 watts and uses two 6V6 power tubes (after about ’56) and is fixed-bias giving it a nice, tight feel. Listen to Steve Cropper playing “(Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay” or “Green Onions” by Booker T. & the M.G.’s. Our old customer Stephen Stills loved his Harvard in the studio. Beautifully worn but original.
