2007 Carr Vincent

An early Carr Vincent with classic (2) 6L6 power tubes. These are simple and durable with a classic ‘60s-style pre-amp circuit and output (power section) that is closer to ‘50s tweed era Fenders. Very rich clean tone with footswitchable drive and boost. The power is 33 or 7 watts, using an integral power attenuator,  an ideal combo for gigs and practice. These are classic American amps built with pride. These early ones are called the “Vincent” like the classic motorcycle manufacturer but after a few years had to change the name to “Viceroy”. Has master volume, preamp volume (drive), and a preset boost adding some push to the tubes and a mid-boost, and a great-sounding Eminence Redcoat “The Wizard” 12″ speaker. Solid finger-jointed cabinet made of light pine for tone and lighter weight. The previous owner is into home audio and iput in NOS tubes – a valuable add-on. Comes with drive footswitch and cable, original owners manual. Hand-wired in Pittsboro, North Carolina, USA.
