Factory custom color – Copper Iridescent (yikes!) Comes with a color photo of the original owner as a very young man, beaming because he has something they only made five of. We invite you to google “copper ‘50s Les Paul” and see the article in Vintage Guitar magazine dated October 24, 2023 (“All That Glitters” by Ward Meeker). The color was called “Copper Iridescent”. First, this is stock, no-wire ABR-1, original tuners in case, never had Grovers or Schallers, original color of course, and original brown hard case. Now, it has had a headstock repair but you can look close and see that it’s a really creative, well-done job. The jack, jack plate and switch are also replaced. The switch works but may need replacing soon. The current owner bought it from the original owner in 1971 when it broke, and got a masterful job done to fix it.  Plus, it’s light, resonant, and sings with the volume of an acoustic plays like buttah. On consignment.
