Amplifiers & Preamps2012 Marshall Model 1962 Bluesbreaker

Marshall's long-lived reissue of the iconic amp that put them on the map, the JTM45 combo as made famous by Eric Clapton in his time with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. 45 watts from a pair of 5881s, GZ34 rectifier, tremolo, a pair of Celestion Greenbacks, and a Baltic Birch-ply cabinet. This is a later-generation model with a cabinet deep enough to accommodate KT66s, although in our experience these sound great with 5881s, KT66s or EL34s. Very clean, in excellent electronic health, looks and sounds great. Made in UK, comes with owner's manual but no tremolo footswitch. $1599
