Acoustic Flat Top1949 Gibson J-50
Natural, Adirondack spruce top, mahogany back and sides, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, replaced bridge and bridge plate, neck reset, a couple of repaired top cracks, some bracing reglued. The J-50 is quite a bit rarer than a J-45 from the era as the J-50 was 5 bucks more. Why the extra money with less finish work? Better wood. This one is a real cannon. If you’ve been wanting an early Gibson with a huge tone and big neck this is really worth checking out. The funky area around the bridge keeps the price down.
